How to divert calls?
The process for diverting calls can vary depending on the type of phone you have and the type of phone service you are using. Here are some general steps for diverting calls on a few common types of phones:
- Diverting calls on Android:
- Go to the Phone app.
- Tap on the three dots icon on the top right corner.
- Select “Settings”.
- Select “Call Forwarding”.
- Toggle on the option you want to use.
- Enter the number you want to forward the calls to.
- Diverting calls on iPhone:
- Go to the Phone app.
- Tap on the “Recents” tab.
- Tap on the “i” icon next to the number you want to forward calls from.
- Tap on “Call Forwarding”.
- Turn on the Call Forwarding switch.
- Enter the number you want to forward the calls to.
- Diverting calls on a landline:
- Pick up the phone and listen for a dial tone.
- Press *72 or *73 (the code can vary depending on your service provider).
- Enter the phone number you want to forward the calls to.
- Press the # key.
- Listen for a confirmation tone or message.
- Diverting calls on a mobile with codes:
- Dial the code 21 followed by the phone number you want to forward calls to and then #
- Press call button
- You will hear a confirmation tone.
- Diverting calls on a mobile with USSD codes:
- Dial the code *21 followed by the phone number you want to forward calls to and then #
- Press call button
- You will receive a confirmation message.
