Where is turkey located?
Turkey is located in Eurasia, spanning both the European and Asian continents. It is bordered by the Black Sea to the northeast, Georgia and Armenia to the east, Iran to the southeast, Iraq and Syria to the south, the Mediterranean Sea to the southwest, and Greece and Bulgaria to the west. The country's capital and largest city is Ankara, while its largest metropolitan area is Istanbul.
