Steps to driving an automatic car
Start the car: Insert the key or press the start button, if your car has one. Make sure the gear selector is in "Park" and your foot is on the brake pedal.
Move the car: Shift the gear selector to "Drive" and release the brake pedal. The car should start to move forward.
Accelerate and brake: Use the accelerator pedal to increase your speed and the brake pedal to slow down or stop the car.
Change gears: In most automatic cars, you do not need to shift gears manually as the transmission will automatically shift as you drive. Some cars have an option to shift gears manually, usually by moving the gear selector to the left or right.
Use the parking brake: If you need to park on a hill or an incline, engage the parking brake by pulling the lever or pressing the button, depending on your car's make and model. Release the brake before you drive away.
Remember to obey traffic laws and pay attention to the road and other drivers around you.
Adjust your driving style: Automatic cars have different transmission system, there is no need to use the clutch pedal and you can shift gears with a gear lever or button on the steering wheel, so it will take a little bit of time to get used to the different feel of the car
